சிமிர்னா அறக்கட்டளை was founded
by Margit Stefansson Selva Rajah in the year 1983 in Ooty.
Reaching out to needy children
was their very first, task, and also they began to extent their rehabilitation work
for disabled people. Their service soon expanded to reach out to the poorest
of the society, destitute women and physically challenged persons in the
Nilgiris.
Smyrna Fellowship
Trust was established in India in the year 1986 to guide and offer support the
social work that was rapidly growing and making a difference in the lives of
the hundreds of underprivileged people.
